Academy grades in top half of class; numerous reprimands prevented her from graduating with honors. Assigned to USS Wellington as ensign, 2364. Reprimanded numerous times for insubordination. Court-martialed for disobeying orders during mission on Garon II, resulting in death of eight crew members. Sentenced to 45 years imprisonment on Jaros II. In 2368, sentence commuted by Admiral Kennelly. Ro assigned to U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D as mission specialist. Participated in covert mission to locate and apprehend Bajoran terrorists. Ro played pivotal role in discoveries that terrorist attacks were actually Cardassian in origin and that Kennelly was improperly acting for the Cardassians. Ro remained on Enterprise-D as flight controller. On stardate 45156.1, the Enterprise collided with a quantum filament, suffering major systems damage. Ro, with Chief Miles OΓÇÖBrien, assisted engineering personnel to avert an explosion despite a major power failure. On stardate 45494, Ro, with other Enterprise personnel, suffered brief memory loss after exposure to a Satarran alien energy weapon. Assisted Commander William Riker in assisting shipΓÇÖs personnel and analyzing systems to return to normal function. On stardate 45571, several crew members became possessed by alien intelligences and took hostages in Ten Forward. Ro and Chief Engineer Geordi LaForge attempted to stun the captors with a plasma shock from within a Jeffries tube above the lounge, but were unsuccessful. In 2369, Ro and LaForge were believed killed in apparent transporter malfunction. Both later found alive, suspended in an area of interspace created by an experimental Romulan cloaking device. On stardate 46235.7, after another transporter malfunction, Ro and other Starfleet personnel temporarily reverted to children, yet participated in thwarting attempted Ferengi hijacking of the ship. In 2370, Ro entered Starfleet Advanced Tactical Training on Captain PicardΓÇÖs recommendation. Promoted to Lieutenant First Class upon completion, returned to Enterprise-D as conn. Admiral Alynna Nechayev assigned Ro to infiltrate a Maquis cell near Demilitarized Zone. Ro successfully integrated with the group, but ended up sabotaging the Starfleet interception of Maquis ship. Has since gone AWOL, apparently a Maquis sympathizer.
